This mod adds 3 additional fields in the EZ-Pages editor to accommodate meta title, keywords and description. It will allow you to update those values without having to manually edit meta_tags.php in cpanel or ftp. If you leave the fields blank, it will default back to whatever is defined in meta_tags.php.

Out of Stock Purchasing

When a customer adds a quantity of product to their basket that is greater than what you have in stock, depending on what your settings are, the customer will see this message:

Products marked with *** are out of stock.
Items not in stock will be placed on backorder.

Your customer can still finish checkout with out of stock items.

You can choose to allow checkout with backorder status or you can choose to have the customer revise the quantity in their basket, in which case, if the customer has too many items in their basket the customer will see this message:

Products marked with *** are out of stock or there are not enough in stock to fill your order. Please change the quantity of products marked with (***). Thank you

Your customer will need to adjust the quantity to what is in stock before they can finish checkout.

This setting can be found in

admin > configuration > stock > Allow Checkout

Back In Stock Notifications Zen Cart Mod

This zen cart module allows customers to subscribe to a - Back in Stock Notification - list when a product has gone out of stock.

A submission form automatically appears on any page where a product is out of stock and the Sold Out icon appears.

Your viewer will enter their name and email address in the form and click submit after which they will receive a subscribed confirmation email.

All subscriptions will appear in your admin where you can send bulk email notifications to your subscribers when the item is back in stock. You can also see how many people are subscribed to a given product.

When the back in stock notifications have been sent, the subscriptions will automatically be deleted in admin so you won't mistakenly send out another notification. There are also several other functions that you can perform.

There is an option to turn off the form if desired.

Upgrade Zen Cart to 1.3.9e

I will upgrade your outdated zen cart store to the current 1.3.9e zen cart. (Linux servers only)

I will test to see that your existing modules are working (up to 10 mods) in the 1.3.9e version. For any of your installed *mods that are not 1.3.9e compatible I will replace with versions that are compatible or remove if no compatible replacement is available. No substituting removed modules with different modules. Extra mod replacement/removal above the 10 allowed will be at extra cost @ $5.00 per mod.

The upgrade will not be done on your live site.

The upgrade will take place on my web hosting service. Once the project is underway you will have access to admin and storefront so you can see that things are as they should be. The upgraded site will be moved over to your domain when the upgrade is complete and I have received site completion approval from you.

I will need access to your cpanel, ftp and current zen admin.

Clean Up Your Google Base Feed

Google often changes things up on us and in the process these changes affect whether our feeds are accepted or rejected.

To make things more challenging, google email notification doesn't give us much information to help us sort things out.

When you have a large amount of listings, of which many are being rejected, it can be frustrating trying to figure out which items need to be corrected.

I find this method works for me:

1. If googlebase has rejected some items in your feed, you'll need to find out which items are causing the problem. To figure this out go to your google account > merchant center > datafeeds. Click on your feed link, IE: yourfeed_products.xml, to view the Feed status summary for your feed.

This summary will show you Item Errors and Item Warnings.

Click on the plus (+) sign beside each link in the 'errors' and 'warnings' field and you will see a sample of the problems google found in your feed. Keep this window open.

2. Next, go to your cpanel/control panel or ftp and navigate to your 'feed' folder. Download a copy of your xml feed file 'yourfeed_products.xml' to your computer. Open your feed file in an html editor or text editor.

3. Go back to your google account in the Item Errors and Item Warnings section. Highlight and copy one of the offending strings of text or numbers and bring that back to your text editior. In your text editor click on edit > find. The 'find' tool will open. Paste your text into the 'find what' field and click 'find all' (if available it's faster) or 'find'. The find tool will find the text or numbers you are searching for. Go to your first found instance and see which item title is associated with the text. You can now go to your zen admin to find the title of the item you need to correct. The quick updates mod is a useful tool to help this go faster if you have a lot of items to revise.

Search through the entire xml file for all instances of errors and warnings google has listed and get your zen cart listings cleaned up.

When you're done, generate a new xml file in your zen admin and upload it to google.

It will take a little while for the feed to show up in your account. When it shows up see how well you did at cleaning up your feed. If there are still some items that didn't get accepted, repeat the process.

Custom Picture Frame | Fading Slide Show

This script will allow you to have a fading style slide show encased within a decorative frame. A favorite place to display this slideshow is on the zen cart home page and is edited in admin tools/Define Pages Editor/define_main_page.php

Using this script will allow you to showcase the items you want. You can add as many images as you want.

The images can be linked to the product info page so when a visitor clicks on the picture they will be taken directly to the listing. This is optional.

There is a description space to enter a short description for each item, which displays beneath the frame. This is also optional.

To add more pictures to the frame you will add them directly to the code via your zen cart admin. You will also need to be able to resize or crop your images to a specific size to fit the frame and upload them either in cpanel or ftp. You can decide what size and style you would like the frame to be.

What I will do is:

Make the frame to co-ordinate with your zen cart
Add up to 8 pictures (your listing images) and link them to your listings. You can choose which listings.
Install the frame on your site
Provide directions for how to add new pictures
Provide support if you need more help with it. You won't be left on your own.

Zen Lightbox changes your standard pop-up image display to one that opens your large images within a lightbox giving your viewer a better experience�when viewing your images. The lightbox is�a professional way to display your product as well as giving your site a more polished look.�

The lightbox effect works with all large product images and includes your additional product images within a simple gallery interface with 'next' and 'previous' click areas to cycle through the images.�

It also works with your other pages, including ez-pages.�

Works on Zen Cart version v1.3.8 / v1.3.8a�/ 1.3.9

This listing is for the service of installing the Zen Lightbox mod, not for the module itself.�

Zencart modules are freely available from the zen cart website.�

When my work is finished you can reset your passwords.

Vinyl Records JukeBox Style Zen Template

This is a fun jukebox inspired zen cart template. It features mouse-over light-up category tabs/links. The top category tabs menu or left side box category menu can be turned off if desired or both can be left on. The top cat menu can comfortably fit one row of tabs.

Designed on a zen cart version 1.3.8a�

This is a newly listed and never before sold design.�

Only a limited quantity of ten will be sold and then the design will be retired.�

However, being a brand new listing, there is the option for the first buyer to purchase exclusive use and the design will be retired with no further sales.�

If exclusive use isn't purchased on the first sale then the exclusive use option will be removed.�

This premade zen cart template comes as shown. To get a better feel of the template design you are invited to see it live by visiting the test shop link below. The test shop has most boxes turned on. Most people won't use all these options. While there you can try out the template tester to view other templates too.

To use this template you will need:�

A web hosting account�
A domain name�
A zen cart

To self install you will also need:

an unzip tool such as winzip�- there are free tools to be found on the internet�
an FTP tool such as filezilla - using ftp is highly recommended to install your template. It can be done through file manager but is extremely tedious.

For self installation it is assumed you have knowledge of ftp and some knowledge of the folder structure.�

Installation via ftp is simply drag and drop onto the store root folder and then turning it on in the admin tools, template selection.�

This template comes with the graphics as shown.

It also comes with the folder/file structure ready for drag and drop.�

There are no changes except for adding your business name to the head banner in your choice of font and a by-line if desired.�

The watermarks will not appear in your version. The credit for, My Digital Fixation, must remain in place. Your purchase is for the license to use. Your purchase does not buy the copyrights to the images. Copyright remains with My Digital Fixation.�

The option for having me install for you is available below. To do this I will need ftp info and access to your�zen cart�admin.�

Template Installation does not include product installation, module installation, attribute set-up, maintanance or any other functions of the cart.�

4 tiling backgrounds�

1 center box top graphic - repeats for each center box turned on�

1 Categories-Tabs menu graphic�

This design utilizes css buttons which you may need to activate in your admin panel.�

Css buttons mean one image loading for all buttons instead of a separate image for each standard button. If the css style buttons are not used, than the standard cart buttons will be used.�

The Categories-Tabs menu is a continuation of the head design and can be either turned on or off. This section can comfortably fit two rows of categories. If you'd like to see the template with the Categories-Tabs menu turned off feel free to ask and I'll turn it off for you.�
